Walking and talking
An established corporation in Oman is provided an innovative treatment to its existing structure. Space is unified with an open plan office strategy, supporting communication and connectivity. Glazed meeting rooms form the core of the area, offices surrounding outside. The company’s notable legacy is expressed through the concept of The Walk, linking areas and buildings together: elements of the firm’s history are abstracted and carved into panels lining the passageway.
Coloured glass and carpeting reference the company logo, reinforcing the colour scheme on each floor. Living moss tiles line the walls, strengthening the eco theme, along with water features and planting.
Break out areas, individually styled to reflect the multicultural heritage of the staff, are an escape for employees to recharge. Park Lane evokes calmness in a natural, green space. Nomadic is expressed through fabrics traditionally used in Omani tents and majlis. Eco Friendly reiterates the company’s commitment to sustainability, recycling existing materials. Tatami Tea House,European Fusion and African Lodge are individually dressed with bright and eclectic furniture.
